My interest in positivistic sciences and the study of the natural world led me to study Physics as my first degree. I completed my studies at the Physics Department of University of Crete in 2012.
Later, my love for people and therapy led me to continue my studies in the fields of Psychology and Neurosciences. In 2015, I graduated from the MSc Program “Brain and Mind” of the Medical School of Univercity of Crete, and in 2020, I graduated from the Department of Psychology of University of Crete, completing my studies as a Psychologist.
As a neuroscientist and psychologist, I have worked in research from 2008 to 2022 at the Foundation for Research and Technology and the University of Crete in both fields of positivistic and social sciences. More specifically, I have worked in the fields of neuroimaging, robotics, brain-computer interaction, human-machine interaction, neuropsychology, intercultural psychology, and social psychology. I have also worked in research in the fields of the Philosophy of science and Bioethics.
As I consider continuous training and education in Psychotherapy essential, I have been constantly in training in psychotherapy programs, both in Greece and abroad (Italy, Netherlands, America), since 2013.
I have completed training programs in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnosis, Body Psychotherapy, Trauma Therapy, Art Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, as well as systemic approaches to family, individual, and business therapy.
I have volunteered at SOS Children's Villages and the Psychiatric Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion.
